Gone there three times now and have left all three times without being seated. This is a place with limited seating and capacity that is filled with "regulars" who spend a great deal of time there. If the looks you get for being a "foreigner" to the "regular" crowd isn't intimidating enough, the long wait will discourage you. The owners have a cafe filled to capacity so they have apparently no incentive to encourage new patrons. Sad, too. We hear the food is great.

Come hungry, the portions are generous and just too good to not eat it all.
Sills moved across the highway into a newer building, but you will still have wait on weekends. Well worth the wait.

Sill's is a little divey place on Main Street in Layton with the BEST homeade breakfast. Their scones (fry bread) are to die for! The sitting area is relatively small so most weekends you will have a wait, but it is TOTALLY worth it. I prefer Sill's over their family joint across the street down the road, Doug and Emmy's. I think Sill's has MUCH better service than Doug and Emmy's.
