Unfortunately we just found out that they have new management and breakfast buffet now costs $11.95. It is still good, but not at that price. You can go to many other places for that price and get better. So although it was a treat, we wont be going here anymore because of the increase in price. I have a feeling that they may discontinue breakfast buffet altogether since theyu don't serve breakfast at any other time.

The only breakfast they serve is a Breakfast Buffet on Sundays. All you can eat for $7.95. We passed this place many times and finally decided to try it this morning. We got there early, around 8:30, before the crowds started to come in. Even at that hour everything was out and ready. Our server explained how their buffet worked and we went right for it. All the food was hot and delicious. The first table had the traditional scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, hash, grits, biscuits and gravy, french toast and pancakes. The next table was the omelet and waffle station where a chef could make anything you wanted. All the usual toppings and some different ones such as peaches were there. Coffee, tea and all condiments were here too. The last table was for humongous bagels, muffins, pastries, breads for toast with cream cheese, marmalade and jams. Service was great!! Everthing was included except juice. Food was good. Coffee was very good. Booths or tables are available in this good sized dining room. Restaurant has a railroad train motif. Model trains were set up and some were running, old pictures and memorabilia were displayed all around. Trains, tshirts and other souvenirs are for sale too. This is also part of the Blackbeard Castle entertainment center where in the summer they have rides, archery, batting cages, bumper cars, driving ranges, rock climbing, mini-golf, paintball range and other things. This place must jump in the summer. Great place to bring the kids.
