Tecolote is excellent New Mexican fare. The carne con huevos is outstanding, and all of the bakery items are also fantastic.

Good, spicy New Mexican breakfast! The carne adobada and eggs were very good and the muffins were good, too! Definitely worth stopping.

santa fe mom i couldnt agree with you more. i love this place when i lived in santa fe i would eat breakfast here 3 times a week. there food rocks!!!

The Tecolate Cafe has the best breakfast in Santa Fe bar none!
There's no toast to be had here only their delectable bakery baskets filled with their homemade muffins,hot-out-of-the-oven biscuits and on weekends, scrumptious cinnamon rolls. While they don't serve toasts they make homemade breads for all sorts of different French toasts. The eggs Benedict here are the best in town, the hollandaise sauce is to die for! I also recommend anything with green chile and my husband adores their green chile chicken enchiladas (even for breakfast.) The Tecolate is so good it has been featured on Diners, Drive ins and Dives on Food Network! Chris, the charming manager and his amazing staff are friendly and great at what they do. This is my family's favorite breakfast place here in the City Different! There are even heart healthy and vegetarians options at the Tecolate!
