www.wagonwheel.homestead.com I recommend this restauraunt to those who would like a home style meal with attentive friendly service in a nice warm atmosphere.

I was driving the second half of my Route 66 trip from ABQ to LAX and had one of the best breakfasts of my traveling life at the Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Needles. BIG portion of scrambled eggs and hash browns, reasonable prices and the waitresses were a hoot to boot! I'm not a big coffee drinker, but I had a second cup just they way I like it just so I could spend a little more time there and talk to some of the friendly truckers who knew the history of the area. I didn't want to leave! Best thing is that she didn't keep pestering me to "warm up" my coffee, which is a bonus to me. Can't miss for breakfast here!
