This place gets a high rating for style and cool points for its decor, cleverly written menu, and unusually creative freebies for kids. Unfortunately, the food isn't as good as the ambiance. The hot food is never quite hot enough (oddly, I had the same issue with the old Ranch House diner that was at the same location for years). The last time I had breakfast there, I ordered Eggs Benedict - the eggs were undercooked, and the sauce (which looked cute, having been swirled over the eggs out of a squeeze bottle) was cold. That was the worst meal I've had there - others were better than that, but none on the level of Crossroads, Arner's, or The Post House(s) for N. Delaware Breakfast dining.

The food is always great and the prices are reasonable for the portion sizes you get. Love their homefries too.
