These photos were taken by Omelet Pan at New York Diner in Chattanooga, Tennessee. By the way, the home fries (pictured in the 3rd photo) are the best in the world, period.

My husband and I tried this place for breakfast on the morning of our last day in Chattanooga. I wish we would've found it sooner. The food and service were awesome! The atmosphere was nostalgic and the restaurant was very clean. Large portions of food for the money and the best I have ever eaten.
We will definitely be returning next time we are in Chattanooga and will recommend it to other people.

New place in town. Very nice breakfast; grill man knows his business. Eggs; potatoes and bacon all excellent. Price is right. Could use a bit of work on keeping floors clean.

This is a new restuarant. Very casual atmosphere with VERY good breakfast! I had the sausage gravy w/homemade biscuits. This is by far the best gravy and biscuits I've had all over Chattanooga! It is better than what I make! My husband loved the homemade breakfast potatoes and pancakes. He doesn't ever order pancakes but did and LOVED them. I agreed and ate half of them! They serve all foods all day long!

Finally, a wonderful breakfast restaurant in the legendary Gulas location across from Eastgate Town Center. If this isn't the best breakfast in Chattanooga, it has to be so close to the top, you'd be splitting hairs.
The home fries are stellar: best I've ever eaten. Generous chunks of nicely seasoned, flavorful red potatoes grilled to order. Eggs any style, omelets, pancakes, you name it.
The homemade biscuits and gravy knocked me out, and will surely be their future claim to fame. It is a must-order, along with the home fries.
The also serve lunch and dinner featuring American, Mexican, and Greek specialties. Most everything is homemade. Sensational Greek salad. (I'll let the delicious cheesecake speak for itself.)
By the way, they have daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner specials that are terrific deals.
An excellent daily breakfast spot, but it's a must for the weekend.
