The previous reviewer is 'right on the money'... Especially for us Route 66 nostalgia nuts... It's a real time warp... Good home made food... served by friendly, spry 'senior citizens' who absolutely love their job... Whatta treat!!!

This place was wonderful. It's right on Route 66. It's like stepping back into the 1950's, and not the cheesy recreated 1950's you see in so many other diners. The homemade biscuits and gravey were incredible. They also had homemade pies, banana bread, chili and soup on the menu. For those with an appetite, they had a 16oz porterhouse and eggs. Our waitress was a spry 80+ year old who gave superb service and looked great in her long prairie style dress and apron. Kept our coffee cups full. Definately should check this place out if your traveling on the 40 or cruising Route 66.
