Diners, Drive ins and Dives. I am not sure but when you see a frozen hamburger thrown on a flatt top it isn't fresh nor is it flamed broiled. I guess not everyone can get what flame broiled is. Really???? If it wasn't for the ship yard being next door and no other options in the area, this place would be ship wrecked. There is nothing remarkable about this place, just overly tattooed waitresses. The omlet the only other patron ordered looked like something I could whip up, no extras, nothing special. I am not sure what three year old would want to go here over Chucky Cheese because even I enjoy Chucky Cheese more than this place.

I just love the food here. the burgers are always fresh never frozen and char-broiled to perfection. the bacon cheese burger is my fav. but I know they sell lots of the firehouse burger too. the fries are bottomless so the value seems really good if you love fries. I had a choc cherry milkshake that was to die for thick and rich and wonderful we'll be back.

When I go to a diner I expect more than a theme decor. May be it is from watching too much Food Network, but I hope for an experience where the food is homemade and fresh. The food is neither. Except for the eggs. Everything else comes from a package. Yep, the waffle mix, the pancake mix, the chicken fried steak (frozen), topped with a packaged gravy. There are no family recipes to experience, just frozen burgers fried. I wasn't told until it was too late that the fries are bottemless, I was never asked if I wanted my soda refilled. If I want to pay for a ten dollar hamburger, I will go to Red Robin and have great service and wonderful fries. If you are going to be a diner, then there should be special food, not just a jukebox in the corner.
