Someone looking for traditional diner food will be very pleased. This place does that job very well, with good quality ingredients. The food is rich and satisfying, and not usually greasy...for a diner. Someone looking for the more modern type of diet food (i.e. no oil is used in cooking) that's reminiscent of the fad in cook books where familiar comfort foods are *reinterpreted, and their ingredients are substituted for healthy alternatives one by one, will be disappointed, but they would be better served not by another diner, but a new breed of cafes that are not hard to find (I will not list them specifically by name, but I'm sure you can think of examples). White egg omelets did not even exist in diners in my mother's time.

* making them not the actual comfort foods, but an adaptation, a similacrum.

Ate there twice. Both times the food was soooo greasy and clumped together it was like eating slop. First time I thought it was just a bad day so decided to try again. Mistake. Ordered a cheese and broccoli egg white omelet.There was so much cheese in the omelet that all you tasted and bit into was gloppy,gewy cheese. Made me nauseous. The home fries were thrown on the plate in such a way that everything clumped together. My kids ordered the chocolate chip pancakes and they were greasy!!! Yuck!!! Way too many chocolate chips in the batter made it almost inedible. the ONLY saving grace was the service was good and the coffee was good. I would NOT recommend this place at all...unless they get a new cook/chef.
