I confess that my rating might be higher if I were the type of person who appreciated lattes, capuccinos and similar "fancy" coffees. Those types of offerings are numerous here. The "regular" coffee the day I visited was a medium roast that the owner told me they obtain from a roaster in Rhode Island. All coffees and teas sold here are fair trade and, since they're locally roasted, very fresh.

They offer a variety of fresh pastries (the muffins are huge!) together with the usual breakfast sandwiches. There are also many lunch options - wraps and pitas - and a good variety of vegetarian/vegan selections.

The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. Order at the counter and then settle in a comfy chair to read the paper or play a board game (all provided) as you while away the time. No hassle - no rush. The owners are very friendly and willing to chat or leave you alone as you wish.
