We pulled into the parking lot of this establishment expecting a warm, southern style lunch. When we entered the restaurant we automatically had our doubts but went ahead and decided to do the lunch buffet. There was only one other family dining there at the noon hour so that should have tipped us off. Grabbed a salad and ordered our drinks all the while looking around and noticing that this place was not very clean. A walk past the kitchen area to the ladies room proved that the filth we observed in the dining area extended to the kitchen as well! Once inside the ladies room I thought I would throw up! It was absolutely disgusting! The floor, sink area, the walls were all filthy and the toilet looked as though it had not been flushed in quite some time! Could not take anymore! Paid for the buffet and drinks anyway and left this place. I cannot believe this place is still open! My next call is to the health department! Do not eat at this place - as a matter of fact - speed up as you go by!

Fantastic food, fantastic and friendly service. The food on the buffet (around lunch time on a Sunday) was hot and fresh, and included a wide selection of both breakfast and lunch foods, along with a salad bar. I will definitely be a repeat customer, and will recommend it to all my friends.

Where to start! Hard home fries, cold grits, burnt/cold toast, wrong number of eggs, two cups of coffee (total), waited over 1/2 hour for food, then it was cold. I have never eaten in a place like this. The service was horrible, the food even worse. Thought about the buffet till we looked at it; looked like the food had been there for hours! When asked how everything was, I told them! All the manager had to say was "I'm sorry you had a bad experience". Never even offerred to comp any of our breakfast. Paid almost $14 for garbage!!!!!

We visited from Colorado and the waitress was horrible and the food on the buffet was horribly old. The biscuits were hard as a rock,the mashed potatoes were dry. Not ever going back.

Very friendly staff, the service was good and fast, about 17 minutes. The food was good and hot. The place was clean. I found the Hot Biscuit is one of Nacogdoches best kept secrets. I will encourage my friends and family to try it out. Keep up the good work.

I have eaten in some very good restraunts.

I have also eaten in the choke and puke, or chew and spew variety.

The Hot Biscuit in Nacogdoches is a good restraunt. The coffee is hot. the waitresses are friendly, and the service is good. The food is pretty good.

Worst service I have every had. Waited for 30 minutes for our bacon and eggs. Food was better than nothing, which means it was not very good. The waitress never wrote down the order, the cook surely lost the order. So my recommendation, to anyone is not to go there! If you do it; is because you don't believe someone who has been there! By the way this is our first and last time to eat at any Hot Biscuite! I even informed the manager he wanted to know what to do and I told him get it was kinda of late. I also informed him that I would WARN other people what they were in store for. And believe me I WILL!

Waitress was very attentive. Food was seved within 20 minutes.Restaurant was clean and breakfast buffet looked fresh. Food was hot and tasted about average.
