Went in to get breakfast/lunch with a party of 4.

We were polite as can be, simple orders. Owner/Waitress was completely rude to us the entire time. 3 of 4 meals came out, 4th didn't come out until everyone else was almost done.

Bill was $39.40, you have to go up to pay. We left $7 on the table as a tip, and went up to pay the $39.40. She gave me my change back $0.60 but I told her its okay she can keep it. She got extremely rude and said sir, you can TAKE YOUR TIP and almost threw the $0.60 at me, im guessing she didn't realize I left $7 on the table for her, even after the horrible horrible service she gave my party.

I have never been treated so poorly in a restaurant in my life. Food was forgettable. I will never return.

If you want to spend your hard earned money at a small business, take it elsewhere, she acted like she was doing us a favour by serving us.

As of November 2013, Marija has two new items on her menu - her waffle sandwich and her banana bread French toast. Both are excellent and filling. The sandwich has fried egg, cheese, bacon, ham, or sausage, with a small waffle on either end pinned with a long fancy toothpick. Her banana bread French toast takes me back to my childhood and my Mum's cooking. Marija told me that the recipe is from HER mother and it is so delicious. Both of these items come with butter and syrup. And her coffee is always so good too.
Ambrosia for the body and soul.
It is always delicious food with low prices at Marija's Place.

My friend and our pastor recently went to Marija's Place for fish and chips for the first time and they raved about the wonderful meal, the service, and the low prices.
They said it was even better than the pricey place five blocks down the road where they had eaten before.
Extremely good food always served to perfection!
A Windsor treasure.

I have been going to Marija's Place for breakfast 3 times weekly since she opened 5 years ago. Wonderful food at great prices.
Her Eggs Benedict with asparagus is my favorite
meal. Also her cherry Belgian waffle with whipped cream, butter and syrup is to die for.
Excellent service with exceptional coffee and only four blocks away from home. Everyone should go there at least once in their lifetime.
Just like home-cooking and no dishes to wash
afterward!

my wife and I are always looking for a new breakfast place to eat. We found marija"s place.
I can't believe now clean and well decorated
this restaurant is. marija's serves the best breakfast in Windsor for a $ 3.99 special from 7am to 11am. She has the best hashbrowns that I have every tasted. They are grated and done on the grill. The coffee was excellant. I know that this is my new place for breakfast. she is open everyday from 7 am to 3pm. she served lunch also, we seen fish and chips go by and liver and onions. well the other people really enjoy the lunch because there was nothing left on their plates. I can't wait to come back for lunch.
She also has three soup selection. chicken noodle, cabbage and a cream soup. Just remember that breakfast is served all day. Give her a try you will be back.

I just wanted people to know about Marija's Place.

I'm here from Southfield, Michigan visiting a few friends and they decided to go to there favorite place for breakfast. well i was so surprised, what a beautiful, well keep and decorated for the season(Halloween). the restaurant served breakfast all day and light lunches. the menu prices were excellent.are party of 6 naturally decided for breakfast. we all have somethings different, Breakfast special.eggs benedict, steak and eggs, create your own omelette, and chef special french toast. everyone was pleased with there food. we all sampled ever dish to see how every thing tastes.would you believe that there was nothing left on the plates. we found out that this restaurant is running with the son as chef and mother Marija as waitress they have been going this for 5 years.

Keep up the excellent job you are doing. I will tell all any friends about this place if coming to Windsor, Ontario.

marija's place

this restaurant is rated 5 stars, very clean, well kept, always decorated for the season. the price of her breakfast special is only $3.99 from 7 am to 11am. it includes 2 eggs any style, bacon,ham or sauage, fresh homefries and fresh grated hashbrownn and varity of toast. the coffee is excellant. this restaurant is priced reasonable
and the good think is that you leave full and don't pay alot. breakfast is served all day. marija's is open 7 days a week from 7am to 3pm.
if you are ever in the area, stop my and have a
breakfast and the food speaks for it self.
