I hadn't been here in a couple years and was surprised they were even still open! But the place was packed with a 20 minute wait on a Sunday. I had breakfast--ham and cheese omelet with hash browns and rye toast. The coffee was fresh and the omelet took a while but was great. They actually could have had no waiting if they didn't take 25 minutes to put out a meal. The waiting was my main complaint (also the prices are higher than they need to be)as everything was good this time. I really enjoyed myself and the Eagle crowd is fun to watch. Very noisy when crowded though.

This is my favorite breakfast place. I love their coffee. The servers have always been very friendly even when they have row of customers waiting to be seated. With my family the Eggs Benedict with a side of avocado is wonderful. I like that I can order a half order of it too if I am wanting a little less.

I had a horrible experience at Joe Momma's Friday Dec 30 2011. I ordered the Steelhead omelette, one of the "lite" meals they offer. It had a very high "fishy" smell even before it reached the table - a sure sign of old or bad/fatty fish, especially salmon. I requested an alternative, which they provided - but no apology, discount or offer of anything extra, as most good restaurants would do. Afterward, the checkout person asked me how everything was, and I told her that the fish smell was terrible. She proceeded to tell me that it was normal, that it always smelled that way. I politely said that only bad or fatty fish smells that way, and that good fresh fish does not have that smell (or the terrible taste it leaves in your mouth). She proceeded to YELL at me about how I was wrong, and a couple of other employees came up and also YELLED. I politely asked where was their attitude that the customer was always right - whereupon she yelled some more, saying "not when they are wrong." Well, if that is the way their fish always smells, and that is the way they treat customers, then good luck on keeping their restaurant open!

I go to Joe Momma's all the time with friends. They rock, service and food is always fantastic. I love the Chorizo Hash and the Tamales when they have them. One of my go to restaurants in Eagle.

I like how most of the time people who write on line reviews a just looking to bash a place. I really liked it and thought my breakfast was awesome. I went on a sunday with 8 of my friends and they took the time to get a big party a table with in 20 min during a very busy time. the service was awesome and everyone at my table really enjoyed their food. I will keep going back again and again. Thanks!

I went back and tried the "trash taters". I can see where they got the name. I asked for the peppers and onions to be cooked well as I don't want chunks of raw veggies in my breakfast. They didn't follow these simple directions. The veggies were almost raw and just barely warm. I like my potatoes crisp, but these were floating in grease. (why is it MOST restaurants everywhere don't understand that CRISPY potatoes/hash browns does not mean to add extra fat?) I will say the coffee was decent and the ham chunks mixed in with the taters was pretty flavorful. All in all, another mediocre meal. Cost $10 and I didn't even get eggs or juice with my braekfast. For a weekday breakfast, we need some better deals. In the Boise area I am still looking for a great inexpensive breakfast.

Healthy choice at a diner was nice to see. I had the Chipotle Lime Tacos and they were a pleasent suprise. Loved my lunch and will soon return to buy breakfast.

I had the Kitchen Sink omelet and it was really good. You can tell there are a few kinks to work out as a new restaurant. The coffee was a little slow to get out but my waitress assured me that they were working on getting a new one. I think once they work everything out this will be the only place to get breakfast in the valley.

Looks to me like the owners got a head start on the reviews here. The place is fine, but certainly NOT GREAT. I tried the Biscuits/Gravy and it was ok. The biscuits tasted like they came out of a can or maybe the freezer. They were kind of flat but with a good taste. Could have risen much higher and been lighter. The gravy was thin with shaved pieces of sausage (they say it's from the butcher shop next door--tasted decent if flavorless). On the whole, it was much better with some tabasco added. The coffee was ok also but for $2.25/cup I expect real good coffee. I will try the trash can taters next time. They are in a lousy location hidden in area that's hard to get in and out of. All in all, not yet as good as advertised. We'll see if they improve.

I had a great meal at Joe Mommas today. I had the french dip and it was awesome!!! love the atmosphere and the service from my waitress was amazing. I will be going back very soon.

Yummy Yummy Yummy. Thats all I have to say. I love that Joe Momma's is family owned and operated and you can tell that the people who work there truly care. The food and service were absolutely wonderful. I have come 3 times and they have only been open for a week. The burgers and the Crab Cake Bennie are my favorites.

The first review was not quite accurate when Joe Momma's is not yet open. Come try Joe Momma's for yourself when they grand open Dec 18th. Joe Momma's where breakfast is good again.
