Biggest breakfast menu I think I've ever seen. Everything is pretty good. Gets busy on the weekend, but I've never had to wait too long.. unlike the Griddle on Sunset (uggghh). Waiters and waitresses are pretty fast and mostly nice.

The menu at Barney's can be a little daunting. There appears to be over 500 items. You certainly won't lack for choices.

After some deliberation, I chose their Breakfast Burrito. My "friend" chose the Belgian Waffle with eggs and bacon.

The burrito was filled with beans, and scrambled eggs and topped with jack cheese and a hot red sause. Their were too many beans and the sauce had no spark. I thanked heavens for the side of guacamole and vowed that if I ordered the burrito again I would ask for a side of salsa. Unfortunately without the extras, my burrito was extremely boring.

On the other side of the table, my "friend" reported enjoying the Belgian Waffle and claimed that the bacon was crisped to perfection.

Our waitress was very nice. She was good with the coffee... until the check came. A pet peeve of mine... I believe the cup or two of coffee after your breakfast can be the best cups -- chatting and relaxing on a full stomache. A server isn't done with you until you physically leave their station. Sadly, our girl seemed to have better things to do.

Average breakfast cost: $7.00.

The bottom line: I'll go back again if only to explore their extensive menu.
