Went in for breakfast they forgot to put cheese in my omelette askied if they could give it to me on the side, I said it's supposed to be in the omelette. Owner said he did not have time to make me another, NEVER Have I ever heard such a think, and they weren't even busy. Place SUCKS.... Service HORRIBLE. Owner needs to get out of business....

We were seated but never given a menu. I had to go find some at another table. My wife's grits had a bad taste (probably from the butter they used). The coffee was very weak and not hot...lukewarm at best. We asked for creamers for our coffee and found out they were in the bottom of the flower pot (you have to move the plastic flowers out of the way to find them). That was our first time there and will be our last.

The food was pretty good however the service wasn't great since I'm paying to b waited on.I haven't actually ever complained on one of these before but my friend and I were a little uncomfortable by our server.it was a stuffy atmosphere.they need some personality in there.anyway food ok but nothing exceptional here.probably won't b back

Mel's cafe on psl Blvd is your place for a great breakfast, I took my cchurch group there on Sunday.the place was spotless. And the food was very good, and served to us in record time. Yes we will return there again. My husband was especially impresed with his meal, he had the create your own omlet , and the cook did an awesome job.

IF YOU LIKE TO BE ABUSED & ENJOY RUBBERY BAGELS, THIS IS YOUR KIND OF PLACE!!! Everything about this this wanna be bagel store and its nasty owner is horrible. To say this place deserves NO STARS is being nice. I want everyone to know how horribly my mother was treated by the MONSTER MEL. This morning my dad brought 4 bagels home from Mel's but when he and my mother sat down to eat, the bagels didn't feel or taste fresh, were rubbery and pre-cut. THINK LENDER'S. My mom was unhappy enough to call the shop to tell them she wanted a refund. When she went into the shop with the bag of the remaining 2-1/2 bagels, the girl behind the counter told her the owner would give her only 2 dollars for the 2 whole bagels left. Mom asked to speak to the owner, who promptly came out of the back and began yelling at my mother, told her it was people like her who is putting him out of business, called her a bitch, AND SCREAMED "GET OUT OF MY STORE!" AND SHOVED HER!!! He refused to give her the money or the bagels. My mother is still shaken up by the way she was treated by this MONSTER. I would like to press charges but I'll settle for outing this jerk. Mel's buys their bagels precut from a wholesale distributor - think about it ...how fresh could they be? I recommend Publix the bagels are made in the store, and they don't abuse their customers!!!

Small place but very clean and super friendly and professional staff. Food was very good and plenty for the price. I have found a great breakfast place.
