Grin's is a casual-college town restaurant. It's basically a burger and chicken fried steak place. The atmosphere is rustic. Lots of wooden tables and floors. The restaurant is set in the wooded hills of San Marcos near Texas State University (fka SWT). The deck is a pretty spot to sit, but they allow smoking out there so you might want to stay indoors where it is all smoke-free.

It is classy but not so much you have to dress "out"

The food is excellent as the atmosphere and service. Indoor and outdoor seating.
