I know this place was the subject of the "Restaurant Impossible" show, but I personally didn't think it needed re-vamping. I was there twice last year, and I found the food to be delicious and the service to be plenty friendly. Pancakes were great. I hope being on the show doesn't make them suddenly "fancy". For breakfast, it was comfortable, satisfying and easy-going. I hope they don't change too much after the show airs.

Im amazed this place has been around so long and everyone doesnt know about it.

I've been coming here for years and seen the changes in ownership go from great to horrible and back to great. The restaurant is family owned and operated and everything is made from scratch. I cant say I've ever had anything there that I didnt love. Their pancakes are awesome, and they do red velvet. SO SO good. You can get apple fritters or fried bread as a substitute for toast. Is there anything else I really need to say? The owner is always there and makes it a point to talk to all of her customers. All around the place is awesome.
