Cherry Smoothie
(2 servings) Printable Version
- 2 cups pitted frozen tart cherries
- 1 large ripe banana
- 1 cup cherry or orange juice (choose cherry for the full experience)
Here's a tip: If it's the holidays and you have a bag of frozen cranberries, you can use those in place of the cherries. You can also try adding additional berries. I like to throw in some strawberries or raspberries sometimes so the smoothie keeps its beautiful red color.
If life is a bowl of cherries... I'm in heaven! This is a colorful smoothie with double cherry flavor.

If you add vanilla yogurt, it's even better. And frozen cherries work fine.

Mmmm. Yum-my. That is all I have to say. Cherry sends me hyper usually, so I was weary of using this recipe, but instead of sending me hyper it gave me a massive boost of energy. Mmmmm.
