Banana Honey Topping
(4 servings) Printable Version
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 4 Tablespoons honey
- 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine - softened
Peel bananas. In a small bowl, mash the bananas well with a fork. Stir in the honey and butter (I use "I Can't Beleive It's Not Butter").
Serve immediately.
Great on toast, pancakes and waffles. Even better topped with a tiny spoon of whipped cream for a finishing touch.

We ran out of syrup for waffles and used this instead as an emergency topping. It's easy, fast, fresh and just overall really good. I added 2 dashes of cinnamon to the mix. I have about 1/4 cup left over and am anxious just to have it on toast later tonight. Thumbs up from me and my kids!
