Bacon Swiss Waffles
(4 servings) Printable Version
- 2 cups Bisquick original baking mix
- 1 and 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 2 large eggs
- 8 slices cripsy cooked bacon - crumbled
In a medium bowl, beat Bisquick, milk and eggs until smooth. Stir in cheese and bacon until well blended. Do not over-mix.
Pour batter 1 cup at a time onto center of hot waffle iron.
Cook according to waffle iron instructions or until steaming stops and waffle is golden brown.
Top with butter and maple syrup if desired.
Easy to prepare. Makes about 8 medium-sized waffles.

This is pretty interesting... I would have never thought of adding bacon and cheese to waffels.
