Whiskey Sauce Topping

- 4 tablespoons butter (softened)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg (beaten)
- 2 tablespoons whiskey (or a little more)
Remove from heat and stir in whiskey.
Spoon over bread pudding, french toast, or pancakes.
