Saute onion in the bacon fat until soft, then add the radishes. Cook over medium heat until crisp outside, and soft inside, about 8 minutes. Add seasonings near end of cooking time. Sprinkle with paprika just before serving.
It's not your traditional hash browns. The radishes provide a real unique flavor.
Mr Breakfast would like to thank CaptainSpud for this recipe.
I have made these in the past and had forgotten about them. I just diced the radishes and cooked in butter/olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper. My family didn't seem to notice they were not regular hash browns. No one said a word about them not tasting about potatoes. I plan to make them again tomorrow.

This tastes very different from potato hash browns. It's not a bad flavor, but if you're expecting hash browns and get this, you''ll probably feel disappointed.
I think this would make a side dish for Roast Beef.

I make these all the time! I know most of you probably don't worry about cals, but I try to watch my cals as well as my carbs. I usually just juilienne the radishes, spritz on a few squirts of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, toss in some salt and pepper and fry it up. So yummy, and a huge serving for about 20 cals!
