Sanitarium Corn Flakes
From: Independent / Undefined

This cereal was produced by the Sanitarium Food Company of St. Helena, CA sometime between 1895 and 1918.

It would be easy to mistake this cereal for the first corn flakes ever sold. John and Will Keith Kellogg, credited with inventing the cereal, also sold corn flakes through a Sanitarium Food Company. But their company was the Sanitarium Food Company of Battle Creek, MI.
