The complete name of this cereal is Post Frosted Mixed Berry Shredded Wheat. It's described on the front of the box as "bursting with berry flavor" and that it's "made with whole grain wheat (and) no synthetic colors."

The back of the box describes it like this: "A tasty twist on the original. Kick off your day with new Post Shredded Wheat Mixed Berry Cereal! The wholesomeness of shredded wheat biscuits combined with delicious blueberry flavored frosting and a burst of berry flavor in the middle."

The ingredients listed on the nutritional panel are whole grain wheat, sugar, dextrose, palm oil, corn flour, natural and artificial flavor, dried blueberries, gelatin, fruit and vegetable extracts (for color), citric acid, freshness preserved with vitamin E, and a smattering of other vitamins and minerals.

Each 22 biscuit serving has 210 calories, 1.5 grams total fat (0.5 saturated and 0 trans), 0 mg cholesterol, 5 mg sodium, 49 grams total carbs, 6 grams dietary fiber, 15 grams sugar and 5 grams protein.





Short Review By Mr Breakfast: I thought this cereal was pretty good. It definitely offers a burst of berry flavor. At the time this cereal was introduced Post also introduced S'mores Bites Shredded Wheat and Cinnamon Roll Shredded Wheat. Those other two cereals were a little better than this cereal.

This is one of the best cereals ever! My favorite cereals in the world are shredded wheat filled with fruit... It makes my mornings tastier!

I love this cereal and am dismayed that I am unable to find it locally. I am curious as to why it is is only found in Walmart, which is stating out of stock. I certainly hope that it has not been discontinued!
