This cereal is described on the front of the box as a "toasted corn and oat cereal (that is) heart healthy (with) no artificial flavors (and) no added colors - good source of fiber."
The back of the box in 2019 described the cereal like this: "Simply Delightful. Quaker Corn Crunch has the delicate sweet taste, delightful crunch, and wholesome goodness of oat and corn for a sensible start to your day."
The ingredients listed on the nutrition panel in 2019 were corn flour, sugar, oat hull fiber, whole grain oat flour, coconut oil, salt, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, reduced iron, niacinamide, zinc oxide, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, pyridoxine hydrochloride and folic acid.
This cereal replaced a previous cereal from Quaker called Crunchy Corn Bran. Replying to backlash that the new cereal isn't nearly as good as the old one, a company representative wrote on Facebook that "we're experiencing a product availability issue on (Corn Bran) cereal driven by ingredient availability. Please know that we're working hard to get it back on store shelves..."
