I GO TO THE TOMS RIVER DINER ALL THE TIME FOR BREAKFAST MOSTLY, IM A REGULAR AT COUNTER AND I HAVE TO SAY THE SERVICE IS ALWAYS VERY FAST AND FRIENDLY!!! THE COFFEE IS THE BEST AROUND AND THE FOODS NOT TO SHABBY EITHER. I HAVE TO SAY OVER ALL ITS A GREAT PLACE TO GO!!!!

No one greets you at the door.
The waitresses all stand around and BS.
We had to get up and ask someone to take our order.
The plates were chipped and we had to send back our eggs, they weren't cooked enough.
The coffee was good, we just had to get up and get refills ourselves.
The manager didn't seem to care about our comments, she just ignored us and handed back our change. We were not looking for a discount or a free meal.
We were just upset that it wasn't the same we remembered when we lived in TR 10 years ago.
TRD used to be the place to go to.
The previous owners used to always be on top of their game and keep the customers satisfied.

Iv'e been to TRD numerous times and I have had nothing but GREAT experiences! My kids love it when I take them out to the diner to get some dinner and it is the first place my friends recommend when we get hungry, and the fact that it is open 24/7 makes it the most convienent. Whether we stop in for a quick bite or a full dinner the food is always hot and tasty, the service is exceptional and the atmosphere is very very friendly and family oriented. TRD is the number one place to go when you want to have a delicious meal with your family or friends. 5 stars!!!!

The trd is our go to place for a good quick inexpensive meal. The service is great from the warm greeting as you walk in to the friendliness of all the servers. It is a consistent restaurant that rarely disappoints. We love you trd!

Trd is a great place to have a cup of coffee, meet with friends, or to have a bite to eat. Whether your ordering the standard breakfast, or a strip steak with veggies and a baked potato, its always consistently great. I recommend this place to anyone.

The TRD is a wonderful place to eat. The food is always fresh and hot, and the staff is always so friendly! No matter what time of day or year, the service and food is always consistently great!!!! This diner is such an enjoyable place to eat!

I WAS SERVED A DEAD FLY AT THE TOMS RIVER DINER!
This was the worst place i have ever gone to. I recently moved back into the area, and years ago it used to be good! My boyfriend and I ordered the dinner specials. The food was aweful, it was slop with a ton of sauce thrown over it, the waiter dissappeared for almost a half hour, we had a horrible time getting refills. they forgot our salads and brought them out after our meal, the fries were soggy, the dinner rolls were microwaved and were like bricks. and the best part of all THERE WAS A DEAD FLY FLOATING IN MY COFFEE! I have already reported this to the board of health, but I have to say it is gross! another thing that drove me nuts is that there were tons of teenagers running arround in there making a significant disturbance. Dont get me wrong i am in my late 20's i am not some old foggie, but enough is enough! I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AND I SUGGUEST YOU DONT EITHER!

TRD IS THE BEST THING EVER. I CANT LIVE WITHOUT IT. EVERYTIME I PASS TRD ON 37 I GET DEPRESSED. I WANT TO LIVE AND SLEEP THERE.I WANT TO EAT BAGEL EGG AND CHEESE FOR BREAKFAST, CHICKEN CRUNCHY WRAP WITH FRIES AND HONEY MUSTARD FOR LUNCH, AND A BIGG HAMBURGER FOR DINNER LETTUCE TOM AND MAYO ON SIDE. IF YOU HAVE A KNOWN SET MENU IN YOUR HEAD YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL. IVE LIVED NEAR TRD FOR LIFE AND ILL NEVER EVER MOVE!

The food is always hot, fresh and fast. The seating is right away, as soon as you walk in the door. The Staff is always friendly, no matter what time of year it is. The summers can be quite busy, but the food is worth it. They have the biggest diner cheeseburgers I have ever seen (in NJ). All selections are tasty and worth the trip, especially if you down at the Jersey Shore.
