Bill has a great breakfast. Some times there is a wait, but it is wort it.
My girlfriend and I go to the new Bills in the Rose Garden area all the time. I say new, but I guess it's been over a year now, perhaps 2.
Coffee is quality. They were putting ice in the OJ, I ask then to stop that.
The bacon is great! The food is high quality and the service is good to awesome.

I went to Bills after getting on this website, looking for a great place to take my friends to breakfast after a night at the Shark Tank..and drinks downtown!! The place was really packed...but we only waited 20-25 min for a table of 10. We went inside and got Bloody Marys and Mimosas at the bar and sat outside and waited. We loved the place!!! The food was great...its not gourmet or anything...but its a great breakfast! Lots of choices. The home fried potatoes were sooo yummy! We had two birthdays at our table and ten staff members came out banging pans, playing a little guitar, playing the cheese grater....Singing Happy Birthday...Not usually into that but it was so fun that I couldn't stop laughing!!! The staff was nice and the food came out amazingly quick!! We will be back!!! The highlight of our trip!!

Bills is one of the best spots for breakfast!
I suggest trying the Lox-Onion Scramble and my husband loves the Chicago Charlie!!

Bill's has an extensive menu and outdooor seating, which is rare in the San Jose area. Their breakfast options are varied and service is prompt. Bill's popularity makes it hard to get a table on the weekend and it canbe a bit of a crowded madhouse. When I get there late, I often opt for lunch as they have some inventive hamburger options. The salad and fries are pretty standard.

This review is based on my first visit to Bill's Cafe:
The menu was extensive with a lot of unique specials. However, the food was good to average but not great.
I was surprised to see a lot of patrons on the front patio were already drunk by 10am on a Sunday. They were busy whooping it up. We had a good laugh about it but if you are planning on bringing the family, it might be better to request a table inside.
