A small reduction in their rating based on my latest visit. Had the Roast Beef hash. Came with over easy eggs vice the scrambled I requested. Tasted great however. Bigger problem is they changed the coffee from a Peruvian blend to a Mexican blend that does not have the depth of flavor that I like. It's weaker than the previous selection. The waiter said another employee said the same thing and increases the grinds by half to compensate for the weaker coffee. He tried it but IMO the coffee was still not good enough.

Great French style omelets. Fresh baked muffin of the day can be your side. Great earthy coffee. Delicious breakfast potatoes. One day I'm going to try their signature oyster hash!

I don't see their menu as average. Believe it or not, I had a French oyster omelette and it was fabulous! I know it may sound weird, but she makes the soft eggs and fresh oysters about the same texture and it melts in your mouth.I loved this place and will return when I'm back in Portland.

Long-time breakfast/brunch restaurant favored by downtown regulars. Basic breakfast menu featuring seasonal/organic items and specials.

There is usually a line on the weekends, but the wait time isn't unreasonable - usually less than 15 minutes. The staff is very professional, friendly, and prompt.

Overall, good quality breakfast. Although no menu items stand-out as a signature dish.
